The weather was warm (80's) and the beach was beautiful. You could take a cart, but the walk was wonderful. My room was located close to the main building which was great for dinner time, and the jaunt to the beach only took 15 minutes by foot. The ice-cream was addictive, and yet I would not recommend it unless you have already eaten.
The Black Bands are reserved for VIPs and Time Share Guests. If you have a Gold or Silver band, you won't be getting the same type of 'Royal Treatment'. The rooms were wonderful, the staff was fantastic, a large variety of food, and a huge resort. I stayed here in November of 2011 for a week and have to say that it was fantastic.
